1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the iOwnIQ mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the App. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the App with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Description of Service

iOwnIQ is a home inventory and asset-tracking application that lets you catalog belongings, upload photos and receipts, track warranties, and generate inventory reports for personal record-keeping or insurance purposes. iOwnIQ has no AI-powered features.

4. Accounts

You must create an account, via Google, Apple, or email/password, to use the App. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

Free Plan: limited to 1 property and 5 inventory items, with basic item tracking and photo upload.
iOwnIQ Pro: currently priced at $4.99/month, unlocks unlimited properties and items, receipt storage, warranty tracking, PDF insurance report export, cloud backup, and advanced search/filtering.

Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Refunds are handled according to Apple's or Google's respective refund policies.

6. Your Content

You retain all ownership rights to the photos, item details, receipts, and other content you upload to iOwnIQ ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the App's functionality. We do not use Your Content to train AI models or share it with third parties for advertising.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App unlawfully, attempt to access another user's data or bypass security features, reverse engineer the App, upload unlawful or infringing content, or use automated means to access the App without our consent.

8. Intellectual Property

The App itself (excluding Your Content) is owned by iOwnIQ and its licensors and protected by intellectual property law.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. Reports generated by iOwnIQ are provided for your convenience and personal record-keeping — they do not constitute insurance, legal, tax, or financial advice, and are not a guarantee of coverage or claim approval by any insurer. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of your inventory data and consulting your insurance provider directly.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, iOwnIQ is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including loss of data or a failed insurance claim. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months, or $50 USD.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless iOwnIQ from claims arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the App.

12. Termination

You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

13. Changes to the App and These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, except where applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise. Disputes should first be raised informally by contacting us below.

15. General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and iOwnIQ regarding the App.
